| Remember that scene in the beginning when the Zulu runner came into the King's kraal and panted out a message in Swahili? That got tons of laughs when the film premiered in Africa. The director told the Zulu actor to just "say any damned thing", because the British audiences wouldn't understand it anyway. So the actor said, "I am not getting paid enough for this part." |

| Sounds like an urban legend to me.
The runner speaking in Zulu tells Prince Buthelezi, "Cetewayo" [sic], "We have blown away (he emphasizes this by blowing on his fingers, as he fans them in front of his face.) many of the red legs". Don't ask me why he didn't say red soldiers, but he didn't!
